If you could please help with a deck list that would be GREAT!!! thank you!!

You can use my deck, which is a Harpie / Wind / Stardust Deck (list is at the bottom). I don’t use Blackwings, because the Dark clashes with Harpie Lady 1’s benefits. You don’t want to run Lady 2 / Lady 3 in today’s duels, and for SURE you don’t wanna be caught using Harpie Lady Sisters unless you need a defensive wall (which is why it’s in my side). Use Harpie Queen instead. -50 ATK but you can summon her no problem because she’s Level 4. You can also use her like Terraforming from the hand to get out Harpies’ Hunting Ground, which I strongly recommend doing (unless you draw HHG first of course) because taking control of your opponent’s backfield is fairly important. Also note that Elegant Egotist can NOT get out Harpie Queen, only Lady 1. But this is a good thing, because each Lady 1 gives all your WIND monsters (that is to say, mostly all of them if you’re running my deck) 300 ATK.

Summoner Monk + Spell Card = Rose, Warrior of Revenge -> Stardust Dragon. It couldn’t be any simpler. Rose can be substituted for either Mist Valley Soldier or Flamvell Magician, depending on what you have access to. The point is it has to be a Level 4 Tuner without any special constraints on it. If you don’t want to run Majestic Star Dragon (which can be gotten out in one turn if you have Summoner Monk, Stardust Xiaolong, One for One, and another Spell Card), then you can take out Majestic Dragon and Stardust Xiaolong for 2 Swift Birdman Joe, it’s how my deck was before Stardust Overdrive and that worked wonderfully as well. One for One can be taken out for Marshmallon or Spirit Reaper, whichever you prefer. I strongly recommend running both Stardust and Majestic Star, but Majestic Star is optional.

When it comes to Simorgh, the only thing you want to Tribute for him, if you can help it (unless you do as I note below), is Wind Effigy. Ancestry is treated as a Normal Monster while it’s in your hand, and in fact is the only card that Wind Effigy functions for (fun fact!). Do not and I repeat do NOT use Divinity, overall it’s a terrible card compared to Ancestry. 200 less ATK and too slow to get out, his effect is ehh. I’m not a big fan of Dark Simorgh either, even if he is technically Wind.

If you haven’t caught the gist of the Harpie deck, the point is to make sure your opponent has as few spells and traps as possible. Harpies’ Hunting Ground, Simorgh, Heavy Storm, Mystical Space Typhoon, Giant Trunade, (and Swift Birdman Joe if you’re not running Majestic Star) are your FRIENDS. Use them as much as possible.

Call of the Haunted is pretty much ideally used on two monsters, Rose and Majestic Star. You can use it on Rose to get her back to tune with any Level 4 monster (that is to say the majority of my deck) for a second Stardust Dragon. Use it on Majestic Star if you use his negation effect because unlike Stardust Dragon, he doesn’t return in the End Phase.

Icarus Attack, you should definitely run two of. It’s a wonderful card, one Winged-Beast to destroy TWO cards, you shouldn’t let that go to waste. But three is too much.

Reckless Greed: I recommend this with just about any deck I make, because I feel it makes it that deck that much faster and more effective. Ideally, you want to get two (or three!) to activate at once, because no matter what after resolving you only skip two Draw Phases. So draw 4 or 6 cards and skip 2 Draws, definitely amazing. But even being two turns ahead of your opponent is a godsend with this deck.

One more last minute note (I promised a note, I feel I should deliver). Phalanx Pike, a circumstantial card I run that most times gets dismissed to use as fodder for Lightning Vortex or Hysteric Party (or Summoner Monk), is a -wonderful- emergency card. You want to equip it on a Harpie Queen when you have at least 2 Harpie Ladies in your Graveyard. Why? This gives you +1800 ATK!. If you have two Harpie Ladies on the field and a Harpie Queen to spare, and Simorgh in your hand with Phalanx Pike available, tribute the two Ladies for Simorgh and give her +1800 more ATK power! At maximum (with 3 dead Lady 1s, 2 dead Queens), Harpie Queen can gain 4500 ATK! 4500 + 1900 + 200 (from HHG) = 6600 ATK! But if you can’t pull this off effectively, use Hysteric Party instead.

About my Side Deck, it’s all pretty straightforward. If you’re facing a REALLY SLOW deck, you might want to consider trying Stardust/Assault, but if you’re gonna do that (and why I don’t do it more often), you’d probably want Assault Beast and Assault Teleport (two cards I don’t presently have). I have a Rising Air Current in the event that I just really need more power and can afford to lose the ability to destroy Spells and Traps, but this is an extremely rare occasion. Twin-Headed Behemoth, Winged Sage Falcos, and Lightning Vortex are temporary placeholders (because your Side MUST have 15) for 3 Hunter Owls, which I plan to get eventually. Good sub-ins for Harpie Lady 1 if your opponent is using WIND as well, pretty much one of the only flaws I have with my deck.
